The Codes warrior I. Defend your clan, even at the cost of your life. You may have friendships with cats from other clans, but your loyalty must remain with your clan, as one day you may meet them in batle. II. Do not hunt, or trespass in other clans territory III. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted and fed the elders. IV. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Thanks Starclan for its life. V. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice. VI. Newly appointed warriors will keep vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name. VII. A cat can not become deputy without having at least mentored one apprentice. VIII. The deputy will become the clan leader when the leader dies of retires. IX. After the death of retirement of a deputy, a new deputy must be chosen. X. A gathering of all 4 clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. XI. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats. XII. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different clan. XIII. The word of the clan leader is the warrior code. XIV. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense. XV. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet. medicine cat I. A medicine cat cannot take on a mate or have kits. II. A medicine cat will never let personal feelings in the way of his or her duties. III. Medicine cats are outside clan and clan rivalry, but must still learn basic fighting moves. IV. A medicine cat may be trained in as a warrior before a medicine cat, but a medicine cat cannot become a normal warrior. V. A medicine cat must be able to interpret signs from StarClan. VI. Medicine cats cannot reject an injured cat. VII. A medicine cat must do everything in his or her power to save a sick or injured cat. VIII. A medicine cat will give his or her life to save a cat.
